A settlement received by the husband in his wrongful termination of employment suit was non-marital property under the "analytic approach," which classifies damages for pain and suffering, loss of future wages, and future medical expenses as separate property.

Everett v. Everett, 620 So. 2d 1115 (Fla. App. 1993). Leave days earned prior to marriage are separate property.

Brotman v. Brotman, 528 So. 2d 550 (Fla. App. 1988). Severance pay paid during marriage is marital property.
