Profits On Separate Property

Wilen v. Wilen, 486 A.2d 775 (Md. App. 1985). Stock dividends on separate stocks obtained prior to marriage in Maryland are not considered marital property, but legitimate increase on separate property.


Gravenstine v. Gravenstine (472 A.2d, 2001). Shares of stock purchased from cash dividends on stock purchased by one party prior to the marriage is marital property.
